In February and November 2014, CRC President Wynne Brown  participated in a “Help Shape the Future of Outdoor Recreation in the Sky Islands” workshop at the request of then-Douglas District Ranger Kevin Warner that CRC be represented. There were approximately 30 different conservation/outdoor groups participating with the goal of helping form a unified sustainable recreation plan. Southwest Decision Resources was the facilitator. This initiative was part of the Coronado National Forest Sustainable Recreation Strategy Action Plan, which was planned for 2015-2020.
